One Month ago, began the GoFundMe for the Trucker Alert App. The goal set for the Fund Raising was set at $90,000.00, A high amount, for sure, but considering what is planned for the app, and the amount of work that will be going into it’s developement, Launch, and operation, the funding will be necessary to make it work, and properly.
The “App” will provide a number of options, all in one place that will be of help to drivers, companies, shippers and recievers, and the drivers family as well, in a number of respects.
As of today, the fund has brought in $705.00 from several sources that have recognized it’s importance, and those names, along with any others, are to be recognized.
First is; Lang Havey, From Chico, Ca. A former trucker, and computer engineer working for a major communications firm, who contributed the first $100.00. Thank you Lang for your contribution, and support.
Second are; Alan and Donna Smith, for their contribution of $55.00, they are from Florida, and of Trucking Social Media.com, Alan is a trucker, and he and Donna are both trucking advocates who support truckers by way of social media and with their radio blog-talk show, TruthAboutTrucking.com. Thankyou both so much for your support of the project,
Third is; Joe Ammons, no idea where he is from, but many thianks for his contribution of $50.00.
And the latest is; Pat Hockaday of Trained Ape Trucking, who contributed $500.00. Thank you Pat for making such a huge contribution.
So the gofundme continues, and as it progresses, funds will be held in place until the necessary funds are reached, and the app can be developed, and launched, and everything that is needed can be set into motion to make this a reality.
